In accordance with BRILEN’s commitment to the development of projects for the generation of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources, as a substitute for production based on fossil fuels, an energy efficiency and CO₂ emissions reduction initiative has been implemented. This initiative has involved the installation of a 6,600 kW photovoltaic solar plant and a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 6,708 kW. The eligible investment amounted to €11,034,199, while the grant awarded totalled €2,676,960.
