In line with Brilen’s commitment to innovation, environment and energy efficiency and within its actions in this area, an energy saving and CO2 emission reduction action has been carried out in a thermal oil heating furnace that meets the demand of the polymerization process.
This action has consisted of replacing a burner more efficient than the one that currently exists, estimating an annual saving in energy consumption of 103 toe/year and a reduction in emissions of 283 tCO2/year. The eligible investment was €99,549 and the aid granted was €12,070.
