President of the Government of Aragon attended its inauguration
The Spanish company BRILEN has inaugurated its new production lines of polyester technical yarns in its plant in Barbastro (Huesca) after an investment of 12 million euros that has created 25 new jobs in the factory and consolidate the current ones.
The new expansion of BRILEN, whose inauguration was attended by the President of the Government of Aragon, Javier Lambán, consists of 4 production lines with a total capacity of 5,000 tons per year. These lines have the most modern technology and BRILEN provide a new technical boost, while increasing the range of products available and improve the competitive position of the company.
The technical thread division of BRILEN has an annual turnover of 40 million euros, employs 110 people and is included along with Novapet, a leading company in the PET packaging sector, in the industrial complex of Grupo SAMCA in Barbastro, which gives employment to more than 400 people and is one of the main productive centers of the Autonomous Community of Aragon, in the north of Spain.
